The SOLO Offshore Racing Club and the UK Double Handed Offshore group have joined forces to offer a fantastic day of shorthanded on the water training followed by evening socials and 2025 season awards ceremony. And if that is not enough then we are also running a solo and double handed race day.
The ON THE TRAINING event is on Saturday 11th April. The event details are in the final planning stages. This, and the Saturday night 2025 PRIZE GIVING will be a joint event with our friends from the UKDHOS (UK Double Handed Ofshore Series). Details will be available here soon, but keep this weekend in your diary - it will be great fun!
EVENT OUTLINE (subject to final planning):
- Pre event webinar on Friday evening
- Training with on the water coaches in the Central Solent on Saturday, Price £25 per boat.
- Post-training debrief & drinks in the MUSTO shop in Cowes High Street
- 2025 season prize giving & supper at the Royal Ocean Racing Club for £40 (subsidised to £25 for under 30's) including a 2 course supper with a pre-dinner drink.
- Race on Sunday 12th April - SORC Solent Shakedown and Inshore Series Race 1 with both solo and doubke handed classes

Berthing space has been reserved at Shepherds Wharf Marina in Cowes. You pay the marina directly but please request a berth allocation to David Bright as we need to declare numbers in advance.
