The SORC Cowes weekend saw two days of challenging racing in conditions varying from light NW winds and calm seas to a strong and gusty southeasterly with accompanying sea state. It’s too early to tell what the weather gods have in store for the iconic Nab Towe race on 19 October, but it promises to be a fitting end to the SORC season and is open to both solo and double handed boats.
After racing, there will be informal bottle prizes for the day, followed by the formal prize giving for the 2023 season and dinner at the Island Sailing Club.
Early entry is until 12 October. If you would like to book berthing and the dinner in Cowes, inform the race director David Bright as soon as possible to confirm numbers.
