Hayling Weekend is an excellent 2 days racing for single and double-handed sailors, delivering tidal gates, tactical headlands, and enough open water to stretch your legs without feeling the pressure of a crowded Solent.
We welcome both newcomers and seasoned offshore racers, whether you already hold an IRC certificate or not.
Please join us on this friendly competition and the great socials after racing.
Starting in the Central Solent on Saturday morning, the fleet will race Eastwards into and around marks in the open waters of Hayling Bay before retiring to Haslar Marina in Gosport for the usual SORC dockside celebrations and dining in a local establishment.
Sunday morning the start will be in Hayling Bay for a return race back to the Central Solent.
