SORC is adopting the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club run Yachting Monthy Celtic Triangle Race as part of its 2025 Channel Week. The Triangle is a points scoring event for both the 2025 SORC season and the UK Double Handed Series. UKDHOS boats are welcome to join SORC for the feeder race to Falmouth and the return race.

Channel Week Race 1 - Dartmouth to Falmouth
This follows on from the SORC Offhshore Race to Dartmouth as a feeder to get boats West. A race from Dartmouth to Falmouth is a Channel Week points scoring race.
Channel Week Race 2 - YM Celtic Triangle Leg 1
The first leg starts on the Pendennis line. After skirting the Scilly and Lands End Traffic Separation Schemes boats self-finish at the Bulman South Cardinal Buoy at the entrance to Kinsale. In past races the Kinsale Gas Fields were required to be avoided but, after running out of gas in 2020, all traces of the various rigs and structures have been removed.
Channel Week Race 3 - YM Celtic Triangle Leg 2
The leg to Tréguier starts at the Bulman buoy and ends at Basse Crublent Pillar Buoy near the entrance to the Le Jaudy River. After self-finishing, boats motor some 8nm up the river to the marina at Tréguier.
Channel Week Race 4 - YM Celtic Triangle Leg 3
Boats return down-river for the final leg which starts at Petit Pen ar Guezec buoy and finishes on the Pendennis line back in Falmouth.
Channel Week Race 5 - Falmouth to Portland
This is the last of the 5 race Channel Week series which also returns the SORC fleet back to the East.
