Held in the Solent after Saturday’s race to Poole was postponed.
The forecast leading to Saturday's postponement was accurate with 38 knots gusting 46 at Hurst. Sunday was a different story with boats seeing anything from 2 to 23 knots. A slip of the tongue describing Lepe Spit a 'parking mark' rather than a 'passing mark' turned out to be accurate for some, but two boats ploughed through to head the results by a substantial margin.
