Nab Solo Race - September 19 - Entries to date = 18
The next race planned by the Solo Offshore Racing Club is the annual Nab Solo Race (part of the Solo Solent Series) to be held on Sunday September 19, 2010. As normal this will be held the day after the Nab Tower Double race run by the Royal Southampton Yacht Club.
We have booked upto 20 berths at East Cowes Marina for Saturday night, where we also plan to have a Dinner at the Lifeboat Pub that evening. All skippers and indeed double handed partners from Saturday’s race are welcome. Please reserve your places as soon as possible - see details in last paragraph below.
This year we plan to design and build an all new and unique Trophy for the overall winner under IRC in this race, which will be presented at the Annual Prize Giving.
Other key remaining dates for 2010: Oct 03 – Solent Solo Series Race III – (after the RSYC Autumn Double on Oct 2) – Berthing and Dinner may be organised on Saturday Oct 2 at Ocean Village and Oct 16 – Solent Solo Series Final Race, Seasons Prize Giving and End of Season Dinner. Berthing and Dinner has been organised at Cowes and the Folly Inn respectively on Saturday Oct 16. Guests welcome by prior arrangement.
