Autumn Races – Check your diary
18th September – Sunday it is planned to run the RIOW regrettably abandoned in April through lack of wind. The RSYC Nab double is on the Saturday if you fancy a work up the day before!
9th October Sunday SORC inshore race – Also an RSYC double the day before, very likely a dinner in Cowes somewhere on Saturday night for those competing in both.
22nd October Saturday final SORC inshore race and Prize giving at the Folly Inn afterwards – partners, family welcome.
Good luck to SORC directors racing the Fastnet setting off Sunday 14th August.
Peter Olden is racing A35 Solan Goose with Nigel Pipe in the double handed class while also no doubt looking for good result overall.
Paul Peggs on board with Marco Naninni fully crewed on Marco’s Class 40 – sponsored by Eurotourist for the Fastnet.
Place your bets on any of the other SORC sailors from the last couple of years also entered in the double handed class. 34 yachts are entererd in the double handed class, 14 are recent SORC competitors.
